The first issues of the new Vampirella magazine had the usual plethora of alternate covers to annoy the purists who dislike alternates, and please the collectors who just like collecting Vampirella comics.  The regular though, Mark Texiera's classic Vampirella pose, is a beaut!

I understand the first issues sold out pretty quickly, especially the regular and photo covers.  Perhaps it's because this is pure nostalgia, back to the days of Warren, and at the same time it's different.

Issue #1

Four covers, with Kitana Baker taking over as the new Vampirella.  The Mark Texeira cover (regular one) is without doubt the best, illustrating Vampirella in the more traditional fashion.

Issue #2

Four covers, of which the regular one is again the best.  I can't say I like the magazine being taken over by Kiss - I want Vampirella not pop culture.
