The first issues of the new Vampirella magazine had the usual plethora of alternate covers to annoy the purists who dislike alternates, and please the collectors who just like collecting Vampirella comics. The regular though, Mark Texiera's classic Vampirella pose, is a beaut! I understand the first issues sold out pretty quickly, especially the regular and photo covers. Perhaps it's because this is pure nostalgia, back to the days of Warren, and at the same time it's different. |

The alternate newsstand cover (with all the text from the regular cover) was released as part of a special Newsstand Edition set along with the newsstand cover for issue #4. |
