FIREFLY SUPPORT GEMMA HAYES ON UKTOUR Gemma is signed to Virgin and will be fresh from her gig at the Shepherds Bush Empire with Tom McRae amongst others. Compared to Joni Mitchell, Gemma is interviewed in this month's Q magazine and one of her tracks is featured on their cover CD. If you haven't heard of Gemma, you soon will. Check out her single on Radio 1 and MTV.

This marathon celebration of music features 11 acts from Cambridge and South Cambridgeshire kicks off at 20:00 with live music until midnight when DJs from the ever popular indie club 'Panic' take over until 2:00. Five singer songwriters will be performing in the upstairs lounge bar and five bands are booked for the main room."

25 MAY 2001: FOLKING BRILLIANT LIVE: Jenni, Curly & Beccy played an acoustic set at the Cambridge Folk Club tonight, finishing off an excellent evening of live music. It was hot, sticky and late, but everyone stayed on to listen to Memories and an awesome cover of Sheryl Crow's "Difficult Kind".
