FIREFLY UNPLUG THE BOAT RACE

Firefly played an unplugged set at The Boat Race on Wednesday. Jenni & Curly were joined on stage for the first time by Claire Hayes whose wonderful backing vocals and Irish Whistle bought yet another facet to the group's music. The set included two new songs - "Don't Be Afraid" and "Living Naturally" which are currently being recorded in the studio as potential tracks on the forthcoming album.

Cambridge's top music venue wrote this about Firefly

"After two years of composing, arranging and creating Firefly have begun to flex their musical muscles - and the public is listening! A soulful mix of something inspired by Dido or Alanis Morissette combined with some a rockier sound inspired by the likes of Moby or Crowded House meets on stage and demands to be heard. Having sold out at the Portland Arms recently, the band is currently working on their debut album, Canglo. Check out what Adhoc and the Cambridge Evening News had to say about them, but more importantly, come and listen for yourself."
