1821-35 Matlock Taverns and Public Houses
Lists extracted from three early nineteenth century directories,
ie. Pigot (1828-9), Glover (1827) and Pigot (1835), transcribed
by Marjorie Ward
Pigot's extracts of 1828-9 was originally believed to have
been from the directory of 1821-22 but it is now known this
was incorrect. This was a mistake in the identity of the source,
not made by the transcriber.
