Dog Instinctive behaviour - beyond basic training

Your dog now feeds from the bowl ok, stays on the floor ok, loves his collar, doggy playing with him Master, but there is more.
Soon it is the little this that you notice, your dogs poise on the floor, his natural state of being, the way when his Master is talking to another leatherman in the club the dog starts to lick boots (yours or Masters), the way the Masters might say "If he starts to sniff ya crotch just push him away".
We are moving on to what the dog does when left alone. Most trainer observe what Trainer do with real dogs, the slave observers what the dog does. Real dogs have many common and also unique qualities.

Part of this is an agreement between the needs of the animal and how the Owner wishes to keep him.

There are a number of kinds of animals some are clean other are dirty fuckers.

The Pack Instinct. ^
Dogs are pack animals, and are not used to being left on their own. They often get anxious when left alone  and develop the fear of being deserted.
Real canines can soil or damage the house or damage themselves - known as "Dog Separation Anxiety Syndrome".
A parallel in the dogslave world that I have noticed, is when the Master is not about (wandered off - or more like the slave did) there is this frantic looking around to see where Master is. Once he is located all is well, until then there is a distraction. This is fondly referred to the "Where's Master...Where's Master" response.  The slave often get security being on his leash.

You might also want to look at:

Top Dog ^
This is typically the alpha dog, a pack leader, dom to other dogs, but sub to human Master.

Pet Dog ^
This dog might not be into SM at all.
Typically kept as a 'family pet' the Master is still Dom with him, treats him completely like a dog, and punish him when he has been bad.

Pig Dog ^
This kind of animal (Swine Hund) captures the dirty debased qualities of a pig and that of a dog. It would fall into the 'used and abused category' with a leaning more to the filth and humiliation side.

Working Dog ^
This kind of dog just performs a function, it has no expectations of love that a pet might have. It would fall into the 'used and abused category' with a leaning more to the total control and CP side.
Guard Dog ^
In some ways is like a working dog, however the dog is physically stronger than the Master (maybe) and acts like a 'body guard', protecting the Master or the Masters property. The Master or Owners relationship with the dog is one of Pet - man and dog. There can be a degree of reliance on the dog, and I guess a symbiotic relationship. A typical example that I have see is where the Guard dog is a big guy, a body builder but passive as hell (in bed), he tends to be the winner in fights, but he is totally devoted to his Master.

In some dog training events there are dog fights to see which boy is the total victor, this breeds  strong character into a slave, some of this is described in the letters/stories section of the site.

Wolf Dog ^
Well this is an interesting one. Here the guy characterize himself (don't know of any female ones at all) as a 'beast' of the night. This classification seems to sit well with all the Goths, and there is a wolfen family in and around LA (check out myLinks page)
