Bondage

A slave should be in a continued state of bondage, from the chain locked around his neck, the chains/cage that he may sleep in over night. (see cages )
He is Captive to his Master.
Generally the slave will only feel 'conformable' when his has some degree of bondage in place.

The life of a slave involves lots of time in heavy unrelenting bondage to ensure that the slave's body and mind are kept in check.
His endurance and slave self development go hand in hand. A Master putting a slave into of heavy controlling bondage, helps refined the slave self. Bondage types vary, restraint, immobilisation, control, pain, torment and security. The feelings that slave can get from this is security, comfort, submission/controlled - this further helps liberate his true self. As he may struggle to eventual total surrender to the Master will.
