The access doors are made specially for these containers and have hidden hinges, 5 lever lock and are effectively 'gemmy' proof. The units are built 'like a tank' and designed in Northern Ireland by a container store manufacturer with 25 years experience of vandal resistant storage containers for the difficult Northern Ireland market.
CONTINUITY OF FUNCTION DURING MAINTENANCE
If one gas bag ages or is damaged, it can be isolated with the local valve and the whole system will continue to operate at reduced capacity until the defective unit can be repaired. This feature alone may save months of down time.
An active control box protects the gas bag from over pressure. It includes :
No sensors are required to existing bell over water gas stores and the controller can be configured to meet the needs of any downstream boiler or digester configuration.
RUNNING COSTS.
If a single bag is punctured, the bag is isolated with the local valve and then wrapped up on a pallet and returned for repair or replacement. In the meantime the rest of the system operates as normal but with reduced capacity. Replacement is normally a 14 -21 day return basis but can be accelerated to a few days for a small extra charge.
