Digester Biogas Manometer

For Safe Low Pressure Operation .

The major control element for digester safety.

Operation

This Manometer instructs the digester PLC of the pressure status of the digester whilst screening pressure variations due to wind.

The 'Practically Green Manometer" provides a robust solution to the poblems associated with simple 'u' tube manometers which may give false signals during wind and storm, when someone uses a mobile phone or CB radio, or when insects or dirt fall into the tube limbs. It is built to be sensitive to extremely small pressure changes enabling control signals to be made at pressure drops that will not even break the meniscus on the probes on a traditional "0-6" WG 'U' Tube.

This unit operates through snow, wind, hurricane, fails safe if it dries out and protects your system and operators year after year after year. The active switches are plug in units for rapid replacement in the event of a failure. Routine annual replacement of switch units ensures system safety at little cost.

We have thousands of operating hours with the unit on real farms with low maintenance regimes.

This unit should be cleaned and refilled annually.

Operating Pressure Atmospheric + /- 50mm (2 inches) of water gauge to protect unpressurised gas bags.
