The system was working on cattle manure until last year when the digester filled with grit and the digester vessel was deemed unfit for this slurry as it could not be degritted routinely. The underground tanks are to be retained by the owner - all other equipment associated with the digestion process are to be sold as a single lot. The purchaser will purchase the equipment as seen and be responsible for removing the equipment with the willing co-operation of the staff on the farm.

The total cost of the items above is £25,000 - a fraction of the original price. The purchaser will require a digester vessel, insulation, lids, a rotary valve, and control hook up to make a working system.
