Manufacturer of biogas fuelled sour gas CHP units, anaerobic digestion
and biogas engineering specialist for municipal, agricultural and industrial
wastes.
Project Highlights:
- Goddards Green - Near London (Gatwick,), Commissioning sludge/cake
blending plant, 2 x 2000 cubic meter digesters SBR's, Thickening Plant
and Centrifuges for Siemens (Southern Water Contract).

Primary Digester + 3400 cubic meter Secondary digester and Centrifuges
for Siemens at the famous Anglian Water deep shaft works .
- Denmark - in consortium to design c. 0.5MW anaerobic digester
to depollute industrial and farm organics - Thermie award achieved , now
built and producing seven volumes of biogas per volume of digester per
day - possibly a world record!
- Israel - design and provision of biogas compression system for
Jerusalem Sewage works.
- India (Assessment of digestion and composting of sugar refinery
and farm waste for depollution and power generation),
- Banbury, England (Chemical identification of odour components
in biogas, chimney dispersion modelling and odour problem solution by combustion
in an Ajax sour gas engine - ETIS award.)

decomposition of farm and food factory wastes in 1MW cross border co-operative
digester with composting, district heating and biogas CHP facilities),
- Czech Republic (assessment of environmental damage from high
sulphur air pollution and ground subsidence, composting of wastes)
- Windsor Castle, Berkshire, consultant to Crown Estates on Anaerobic
Digestion, biogas engineering, slurry separation and composting.
- Copenhagen, National accredited NGO representative to
World Summit on Social Development , March 1995.

(Ultra -low energy) Passive solar powered building.
1989-92 Green Land Systems Ltd. Coleraine, Founder and co-director.
Designed and built :
- Composting Factory,
- 4 Unique High solids Anaerobic Digesters
(still operational),
- CHP units ( around American AJAX engine).
- 70 waste management projects designed.
- Consultancy / engineering business separated from compost processing
business 1992 - [composting business is still supplying excellent compost
and soil amendments to the SportsTurf industry trading as 'GrassRoots.']
1987 Green Land Limited (Natural Resource Development) Draperstown,
Founder Director.
- Completed the commissioning of Bethlehem Abbey Slurry Processing system
- Doctoral Research Project.
Prior to 1987
- Student of Environmental Science with nuclear physics and 'alternative'
energy options majoring in anaerobic digestion.
- 1973 Quality control in Medical device manufacturing industry (anaesthetics
and urology) - Writing British Standards (SGS15/1 Committee)
- 1969 Engineering design in aerospace industry - declined to contribute
to the production of nuclear weapons delivery systems. Involved in control
of rotary electrical machines. Developed the fastest 50HP motor in existence
the CA10001, 300 revolutions per second.
