3 November - The Aquarius (Home)

At one point it looked as though we weren't going to get a game again. The Aquarius turned up late and eventually could only raise seven players.

The match finally got under way with Bob Harris winning in quite superb style 2-0. He was followed by Jeff Tune who struggled to break in the first game but won the next two, a 14 dart game in the third leg, to win 2-1. Bill Townsend did not play particularly badly but he didn't play well either and lost 2-0.

Alan Smith played at number four and despite an apparent loss of confidence over the last few weeks, played well to win 2-1. At number five was Craig who played what can only be described a dismal darts but still won 2-0. Cowboy Dave Downes lifted the level of performance with a clinical 2-0 win. Finally Big M played at number seven with fingers covered in grease from an early serving of chips. He played well though including a 140 in his second leg to win 2-0. Unfortunately John Savage and Bulldog did not have any opposition to play which left the win a little flat. With a bye in the next cup game we are struggling to play any darts at all.
