Apropos of the local names noted in 'A local Agreement', here is what Burman has to say about the family names of the Forest of Arden in his book 'Warwickshire People and Places' (1936)

Hemming: an Old English name, probably from Worcestershire: most common in Alcester, Studley and Henley: noticed in 1332.
Baylis: from 'Bailiff': not noted in the Bidford document
Haynes: from Hind, a tiller of the soil.
Edkins children of Edward, Edmund: old name in the county,especially Stratford, Henley, Wootton Wawen.
Court from the big house in the village: formerly plentiful at Studley, Ullenhall, Tamworth-in-Arden.
Biddle: from 'beadle', always common in Warwickshire
Dolphin very old county name: John at Tanworth 1327.
Irons (Hirons) from Old English 'hirne', a corner.
Kempson: son of soldier; Henley and Grafton
Lane: 13th and 14th centuries; many people identified as 'in the lane always a Warwickshire name.
