The Library has on loan from library H.Q. the 'Doomsday Project'. This is available for the public to use. It was published in 1986 by the B.B.C. Doomsday project. Over 15,000 schools and community groups sent in information The two discs give alocal view of Britain, describing the life, landscape, industry and culture in over 15,000 pages of text and 24,000 pictures. The national disc is a compilation of national statistics, thematic maps, picture sets on 520 topics and text on national and regional issues. DO COME IN AND LOOK AT IT. IT WILL BE IN ALCESTER AT LEAST UNTIL NOVEMBER 1992.
