Single Saxony: "The best West of England suitings and jacketings available"

Over several hundred years, West of England woollen mills built their reputations using finest merino woollen-spun yarns - which originally meant using wool from Saxony in Germany. Nowadays the wool comes from Australia, but the tradition of Saxony cloth lives on - a soft and elastic handle with a densely milled finish (quite unlike the hairy Northern tweeds). Marling & Evans alone still offer this fabulous West of England Saxony in several different weave structures and cloth types. Any Single Saxony design is transposable from/to any other Single Saxony quality.
