PocketDOSPocketDOS allows you to run older DOS programs on WindowsCE or Psion/Symbian EPOC32-based computers.
XT-CE Also an emulation package, XT-CE is a well-respected piece of software which allows users of virtually any WindowsCE machine to run older DOS programs.

AltaVista AltaVista is arguably the most respected and powerful search engine around.
Ask Jeeves  Fun, and surprisingly powerful.
DejaNews A complete archive of the Usenet newsgroups (as from March 1995), which can be extremely useful for finding an elusive answer or reference.
Hotbot  Lurid colour scheme, but a powerful search engine none the less.
Yahoo Probably the most-used site on the Net, Yahoo has an extensive category listing which is highly useful, even if the web page searches aren't as good as AltaVista.
