Summary
The mt401 offers you international mobility in over 91 countries with its dual band capability. This works on networks throughout most of Europe, Africa and Australasia, allowing you to wander between GSM900 and GSM1800 networks seamlessly without even pressing a button! This makes the mt401 a highly desirable phone to roam with as you can select from a greater range of networks and thereby have the best possible combination of coverage and call charges. In some countries the range of networks you can access is doubled because of the dual-band capability. With the EFR feature your calls will be noticeably clearer than calls made on older mobile phones. A high quality personal handsfree is included by Orange for portable "walk and talk" use.
A stylish black keypad with the silvery grey finish casing and 4-way mouse key give you one-touch access to a range of functions, including a scratchpad memory for recording short numeric messages. The standard Ni-MH battery allows you up to 2.5 hours talk time or 5 days standby, ensuring you keep in touch wherever you are.
The Mitsubishi mt401 sounds as good as a desktop phone thanks to the enhanced full rate codec feature (EFR) which is now available on the Orange network. This makes the mt401 one of the best sounding phones in the UK. Orange was the first wirefree network in the UK to offer the enhanced sound offered by the mt401 to all customers free of charge.
