*** Communicate's DDF technology enables the fast transmission of uncompressed data on GSM data networks. In order to achieve these fast throughput rates, the remote modem in use must also support multiple, industry standard compression protocols such as V42bis, MNP 5 and MNP 2. Modems supporting V42bis and MNP 2 together will achieve maximum data throughput giving compression ratios of up to five times, while those supporting V42bis or MNP 5 will achieve up to two times compression.
