orange (tm)Everyday 50

EVERYDAY 50 was discontinued for new connections on October 1st 2002.

After work or college, you can now catch up with all the latest news from your friends with Everyday 50 or even use for surfing the net or with a WAP phone!

50p a day = 50 minutes of off-peak calls.

Orange Everyday 50 could mean it's time
to say goodbye to your fixed line phone!

Because Everyday 50 is one of the lowest digital line rentals, with the lowest per minute charge of any standard mobile tariff it's the affordable way to chat or use the Internet. It is billed monthly and the cost will vary according to the number of days in the month. You'll receive a 14-day money back guarantee, Orange Equity points and the Network Performance Promise. A Care package can be bought separately. Calls to your Answer Phone are included in the inclusive talk time. If you would like to pay for them separately, simply call 150 free from your Orange handset.

Everyday 50: call at just 1p per min

NOW WITH CONNECTION FEE:

From 1st March 2002 a connection fee has been reintroduced on Everyday 50: £35.00 Please note that handset prices are higher on Everyday 50 as well. This means it is now a better idea to connect Everyday 50 on a second line, with your main tariff as Talk 60, for example. That way there is no connection fee, and you get the phone much cheaper.

Please note that if you connect on another tariff and change to Everyday 50 with Orange you will still be charged the £35.00 connection fee. Additionally we will "clawback" the difference in handset prices should you choose to change to Everyday 50 within your first 4 months with Orange.

Data Calls on Everyday 50

Local rate numbers, e.g. 0845 are now included in daily talktime!

Cost: As long as you have access to an Internet Service Provider who uses either an 0845 local rate, geographic 01 type number, or a national rated 0990 or 0870 number, or an Orange number you can use the inclusive 50 minutes daily for internet calls.

Speed: The maximum uncompressed data transfer rate at the moment is 9600bps, although not as fast as a fixed phone line it is very affordable, and there is no minimum charge for calls (unlike BT and other fixed line phone companies). To take advantage of data calls on Everyday 50 you must have Everyday 50 on your main line, as Line Two tariffs are not suitable for data.

High speed data: Please note that Orange Data Access, the high speed data service is not available with Everyday 50 at present.
