A
little on the smart side: the new Siemens C35e
The
C35 is one of just a few phones with T9 predictive text input. This
"reads" your thoughts so to speak - and compares your text entry with an
integrated dictionary. You then only have to press the key just once for
each letter. (Click the logo to try the T9
text input demo!)
Picture
Messaging is another innovative facility, which allows you to send
and received these messages with other C35 users. Calling Faces
lets you design animated pictures to illustrate certain callers to your
phone.
For everyday use the C35 really shows its capabilities. Like all new phones it of course has EFR, for enhanced digital sound quality. When not on a call you will find the built in clock, alarm, reminders and games very handy. Maybe not for everyday use but useful are the calculator, currency converter and stopwatch.
NEW:
100%
tax relief on new internet mobile phone purchases
From the Government's budget announcement in March 2000: "Small businesses that invest in Information and Communication Technology equipment (computers, software and internet-enabled mobile phones) over the three years from 1 April 2000 will be able to claim 100% first year capital allowances, thereby getting immediate relief on the whole cost of their investment." N.B. Check with your accountant for full details and elegibility.
