This ingenious device is an ideal accessory particularly if you use some sort of device which holds the phone without a carry case, eg: a handsfree carkit or a desk-top charger. The clip attaches to the belt, while the other part usually fits securely in a groove above the battery (51/61/71 series) or attaches via a brace round the back of the phone (3210). The belt-clip holds the phone while letting it "swing" in the slot and a reassuring "click" lets you know the phone is held securely. The phone is released out of the clip by depressing the locking mechanism button.
With the 8210 the kit includes a replacement battery cover, with an integrated clip. There is also a selection of stick on buttons for mounting in a car, for example.
