Little Earth was a collaboration between myself, the visual artists Joe Joelson & Bruce Gilchrist (aka London Fieldworks), and the sound artist Dugal McKinnon.

Premiered at the Wapping Project in January 2005, the installation - filmed in the round on the summits of Ben Nevis, Scotland and Haldde, Norway, and projected onto a free-standing screen "cube" - told the story of CTR Wilson and Kristian Birkelund.

Last of the natural philosophers, first of the modern scientists, Wilson and Birkelund never met. But the work they did and the discoveries they made helped spark the nuclear age.

More information can be found on the London Fieldworks website. The script of the film can be found here.
