The Frenchgate Cafe is located on Frenchgate (is that a coincidence or what?) close to the bottom entrance of the Market Square on what used to be called the Great Channel. (When this picture was taken (3 October 98) the Cafe was undergoing redecoration but was due to reopen within a few days).
