Took my family there the other month and thought it had all the ingredients of a fantastic theme park. Couldn't really fault it for the reasons you have said to be honest

DLP is a Superb park - one of the best in Europe - it's hard to choose between this and the equally excellent Europa park. The best challenge in the park is to find "Hidden Mickeys" - there are several places where the 3 interlocking circles of the silhouette of Mickey's head can be seen. These are hidden in the park by the designers, and often can only been seen from certain angles - for example, there's one on the very top of space mountain, but to see it you have to be on the other side of the park, near "Small World" otherwise the shapes don't link up... If the park was maintained the same as the US parks, where it is said if you see a blown bulb, go back the next day, it'll have been replaced - this is not the case at DLP.
