An Introduction to the Tynedalesman Magazine

The Tynedalesman was originally a regularly published newsletter, but following a revamped several years ago is now published as a magazine. It is produced by the South Tynedale Railway Preservation Society (abbreviated to S.T.R.P.S.) for its members and surplus copies of the paper version of the magazine are made available for sale to the general public at Alston Station shop.

Printed copies of the magazine are distributed to each of the paid-up members of the S.T.R.P.S. keeping members informed of recent developments and updating them on items of interest relating to the South Tynedale Railway (abbreviated to S.T.R.) at Alston, in Cumbria.

The magazine is published quarterly, i.e. four times per year, and publication is planned to take place during each of the four seasons of the year - with issues dated as either Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter, for each year.
