associated with normal pressurised oxygen cylinders

The emOx
system is an emergency oxygen supply that for the first time permits a
supply of pure oxygen to be available when it is needed in an emergency.
Every good first aider knows the value of oxygen in a medical incident – yet the reality is that it is very seldom that a supply of oxygen is readily available due to the impracticability and cost of storage of Oxygen cylinders on the boat, in the home, on the dive or hiking expeditions.

The emOx system now provides the ideal solution due to the fact that it is based on powdered oxygen – simply add water (even sea water) to the plastic non-pressurised cylinder and then add the two powders. A chemical process is set into motion that releases more than 90 litres of pure oxygen (99.7%) at a flow rate averaging 6 l/min over 15 minutes. The standard pack includes sufficient powders for 45 minutes of oxygen. |

| The emOx
emergency oxygen supply is the result of six years research in conjunction
with the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. This product is set
to revolutionise the way in which we approach emergency aid – now there
is no excuse for not having oxygen available.
The emOx system received
the coveted INPEX gold medal at the 1997 INPEX
expo in the USA and has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) for sale in the USA.
