All divers are welcome to join the club, regardless of certification agency. You do not need to "convert" to PADI to take part in club dives. However, you may decide to take one of the many PADI dive courses available. If you are a BSAC diver you can use the table below to see which courses you would be eligible for. For diving qualifications from other certification agencies, contact Rod, to see which course you would be eligible for.

A BSAC Novice I or II may be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver if they successfully complete the 4 PADI open water dives from the Open Water Diver course, Scuba Review, Final Exam and Watermanship Assessment. A BSAC Novice II diver could be accepted onto a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver programme, if they successfully complete open water dives 4 & 5 from the PADI Open Water Diver course with the same PADI Instructor.
