Undated, but probably 1936. Edition 60.
A Fine Wood Engraving from a group of about a dozen being sold at an Antiques Fair - all of a nautical nature. He appears to have had two distinct styles - the carefully and finely engraved, as here, and a more vigorous and coarser method. This particular print is listed in Fine Prints of the Year for 1936, and gives a Long Island, New York address. I can find no other information. Several of the other images I did not purchase looked very like material for book illustrations..... The image reproduced here is rather large due to the fact that other resolutions caused moire due to the close spaced lines.
