Wyn Casbolt (British 1914 - ?)
One of the 'Slade Girls', she was a painter, draughtswoman, and printmaker. Born in London she studied
at the Slade under Norman Janes and Randolph Schwabe. Despite ill health she exhibited at the WIAC, Redfern
Gallery, Newbury Art Society and abroad. She produced fine landscapes and abstracts in the 1950's and 60's,
living in Newbury and later southwest London. The only prints I have seen date from the mid 1940's and are
of a distinctive style with dense cross-hatching.
