Alfred Richard Blundell (Bury St Edmunds 1883-1968 Bury St Edmunds)

Painter, Printmaker and Glass Engraver, was employed initially as a railway clerk before entering the Slade School of Fine Art in 1913. Hardly mentioned as an etcher, he is well known as a painter of architectural subjects from Britain and the Continent. His painted work is widely held in provincial museums here and abroad and in his heyday he exhibited regularly.
