There is always a down side to everything, and setting up and running a repeater is no exception. The groups outlay to get the two repeaters on the air will be in the order of £2,000 in the first year. Some of this money has come from subscriptions to the repeater group, the remainder will be from the group members own pockets. If you use the repeater, then the other user, and we would hope that you would help to keep it on air by subscribing to the group. Currently the subscription is only £7.50 and this could be paid at any of the rallies we will be attending, or by post to the Sec, G4IDF (QTHR).
