Evil eunuchs tyrannise China and hatch a plot to ensnare hero Chow Wai-on. Chow with his lover Yau Mo-yan take refuge in the infamous Dragon Inn whose proprietress Jade King seeks the affections of Chow. Meanwhile the eunuchs' henchmen arrive at the inn.

Enjoyable but a bit rough round the edges in places. Indeed I felt Maggie not particularly suitable for her role. On the other hand Brigitte Lin really shines as Yau and Tony Leung is excellent as usual.
