Food I put my first Kaiseki page up years ago. Ever since, this section has said "I cook. I like to try new things and this, combined with my interest in Japanese things, has led me to try the very formal Kaiseki style. True Japanese will probably be up in arms, but here are some anglicised Kaiseki recipes. They have different styles throughout the year: these are for July."
For most of the intervening time, I've had a couple more Kaiseki pages "ready to go", together with an "iron age" spring feast that I've "finished" at least three times. You know how it is. Now, though, something more important has happened. Two years ago, I rewrote my HTML tutorial. To give people an ides of the kind of thing that makes good content, I used a few of the recipes from my mother's little tin full of index cards. I now aim to post all of those recipes, using the format she liked from the tutorial. |
