Many Moons

Many moons reusable menstrual pads are made from brushed flannel cotton for exceptional comfort, absorbency and durability.

Each pad consists of an outer pocket and an inner liner- a piece of flannel folded several times. This allows through washing and quick drying, whilst giving greater absorbency than disposable pads. Washing is simple: remove the liner from the pad; soak both pieces in cold water for at least two hours; machine or hand wash and dry!

If you are away from home, put soiled pads in a plastic bag and soak as soon as convenient. Should staining occur, try adding some soda crystals to the soaking water before washing.

Many moons last for five to six years, as most women find that one set (eight) pads is sufficient, your profit is as least four years worth of disposables!

Styles

'Self-fastening Wings' pad: wings that wrap around your knickers as fasten to each other with a sturdy popper. This style has a water resistant nylon lining (organic pads don't but are extra absorbent)

Sizes

Full flow: super absorbency 11", £5.50 (£6.50 organic cotton). These are ideal for after childbirth - soft and gentle on tender perineal skin.

Easing Flow: regular absorbency 8" long £5 (£6.00 organic cotton)

Light Flow: light absorbency 8" long, £4.50 (£5.50 organic cotton). For light day, as panty-liner, or for mild incontinence.

Colours

Pastel: floral, striped, dotted and plain prints in pastel shades

Wild: wacky prints: tartens, jelly beans, leopard skin etc. in bold colours

Organic: unbleached certified organic cotton
