KJR letter to the
Croydon Advertiser.
Croydon,
Surrey, England
The extent how England discriminates against its true musical culture - Traditional jazz.

The Editor, Guardian, Sutton, Surrey, England
Friday the 7th August 1998
Dear Editor

Cllr Andrew Pelling (Wed 5 Aug) is quite right in saying ethnic groups are good at expressing their own views.

With nearly all cornershops in the UK run by the ethnic groups, that surely is a strong " voice" - enough so, to demand, and get from the new whimpering British/English ninnies without a fight today, a stretch of land in middle England, to form and claim as their own, without the need for any further Race Boards to put their views -
New-seekersland.

Therefore, it becomes clear, that all that money spent up and down the country on running Race Boards, and no support ever given over since WWII for England's true musical culture - Traditional jazz, it is a national disgrace.

Yours sincerely, Ian King, East Croydon, Surrey CR0 6QD
