These pictures were mostly created using Bryce 3D from Metacreations. This program is a landscape designer with very good texture creation and rendering facilities. It does have some shortcomings as well, and I have used some other programs to help:

Corel Draw 7
Used to create smooth bitmaps eg for the company tents which were created using Corel Draw graded fills then exported as bitmaps. The stockade around the company camp was made in a similar way.
Corel Photo Paint 8
Used for various tidy-ups, not least of which is for file conversion to .jpg and making thumbnails.
Corel Dream 3D 7
Used as a modelling program for 3D objects. The company standard was made by making the outline on the sun in Corel Draw then making it into 3D with Dream. The rest of the standard was made from various primitives.
Poser 3
Another program from Metacreations, this time for creating and posing humans and some animals.
Universe
A shareware program used to make bitmap starfields with galaxies, dust clouds, nebulae, planets, etc.
Terragen
A freeware landscape generator and renderer. Although nothing like as flexible as Bryce, its realism can be quite striking.
trueSpace 2
A Caligari product, this modelling software allows one to pull and mould geometrical bits around like putty. The current version is 4 but I got it free on a Computer Shopper cover CD.

Music

These tunes were created with Sibelius 6 on an Acorn RISC-PC and exported as MIDI. They are set up for use with a Yahama XG-compatible synth but should sound OK with any general-MIDI compliant synth or sound card.
