Rainforest Awareness Week
The London Aquarium recently held a Rainforest Awareness Week and Children's
Tropical Forests (UK) were proud to be invited to join the exhibition.
The CTF exhibition stand
Located between the sharks and the piranha CTF volunteers handed out
leaflets, sold merchandise and gave talks on the rainforests and our
conservation efforts in Costa Rica and Thailand.
A curious shark comes to say hello!
The fundraising efforts
were also helped a great deal by the sponsorship of Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream
who have donated all money raised from the sale of their ice creams at the
aquarium to the charitable organisations taking part in the exhibition.
These organisations were Children's Tropical Forests (UK), Survival, The
Orangutan Foundation and Rainforest Concern.
