Located in France, Normandy in "La Manche" near Valognes and Cherbourg just a few kilometres from the sea, you will find this 16th century manor house nestling quietly in the countryside at the end of an avenue of poplar trees.

The main building dates from the 16th century, but the foundations are much older. Important restorations have been made during the 18 th century. Its setting dates from the Gallo-Roman period and Sauvigny was joined to the famous town of Alauna. The old Roman causeway of Cosedia borders the property.

The central location of the manor will enable you to visit a lot of places of
interest : "La cité de la mer" in Cherbourg, the Channel Islands, Jersey and Guernsey, the D Day beaches and its monuments (Utah beach, Omaha beach, Sainte Mére l'Eglise), historic sites under the label "pays d'art et d'histoire" (Valognes, the Normand Versailles, Bricquebec and Saint Sauveur le Vicomte).
Accommodations: On the 1 st floor : 4 rooms are available including 1 suite of 2 rooms, i.e. 9 beds in total. The rooms are accessible from the ground floor by an independent entrance: an old spiral stone staircase leads to the 1 st floor.

The Suite: (55 m2) with style furniture, two bedrooms, one 32 m2 (a double and a simgle bed) the other smaller (a double bed): bathroom with a bath-tub and WC.

Room 1 (24 m2) : A double room with king size bed, shower and WC in the private bathroom.

Room 2 (27 m2) : A double room with king size bed, shower and WC in the private bathroom.

Room 3 (40 m2): A very large double room with a king size four poster bed a fire-place and a private bathroom with a bath-tub..

Room 4 (26 m2): A double room with king size bed and a private bathroom with a bath-tub.










Continental breakfast, included in the basic tariff, and evening meals, at additional cost, are served in the guest dining room. Other meals can be found at a wide variety of local restaurants.
