Boogie woogie is my favorite music. Your site is definitely going into my favorites. My computer was down for a while and I lost several sites. I had not seen yours before, so maybe the computer problem was a good thing.
I keep meaning to learn to play boogie on the piano/keyboard. For now, I will just enjoy listening. Thanks for putting this site up. See Ya...Tom

How brilliant, I thought I was one of a dying breed and was alone in my love of Boogie Woogie. Just as a gesture I typed in Boogie Woogie on Metacrawler and hey presto, pure Boogie. Absolutely fantastic, best of luck and thank you.
being a pensioner I'm afraid that am not in a position to help your sales but I am enjoying your playing on the site.

Tim:

This may be the second message you receive from me. The first one (partial message) got lost somehow.

You have a very interesting and entertaining website. I came across it while searching for information and recordings on Jimmy Yancey. I like his style. I'm fond of Boogie-Woogie and am picking-up some lessons based on an instruction video by Mitch Woods. My mom aslo taught me a few bars a long time ago. I'll look for your gig next time I in the UK. Do you have a regular spot?

Hey, I just stumbled upon you website at a friends house. I heard the most amaizing live recording of a Boogie Woogie artist on the radio traveling from Baton Rouge to Ft. Worth. I pulled the truck over to write down the information and I haven't been able to find a recording of it yet. It was called 'Boogie Woogie ElDorado' by someone named something close to 'Will SarCharms?' Trying to write this down at 70 mph at 2:00 in the morning, I probably miss-spelled his name, or miss heard it. I would greatly appreciate it for any help.

Great web site, and a novel idea to help other boogie woogie
fans to share. I'm a fan of Freddie Slack, who played a mean piano (sometimes with Ella Mae Morse, vocalist) in the
1940's...maybe into the 50's. I will appreciate any help in
locating old records and newer casette tapes/CD's of his eight-to-the-bar, especially '(A Place) Down the Road a Piece' and 'Southpaw Serenade.' Capitol Collector's Series
VPC 07777952882 featured Freddy Slack but is out of print,
and I havn't located a copy. Slack also led his own band,
and I heard he died prematurely. Any help will surely be
appreciated by this old guy who remembers the live sound of
those years. Thanks very much. Keep up the good work.
