Danny McGrain (Celtic squad) According to Jim Craig, Danny is now the Under 21 coach at Celtic. See September 2001 News

Rececent trips around the Official Club websites have revealed the following.

Duncan Forbes (Norwich City squad) Is Norwich City's Chief Scout.

Alan Hill (Nottingham Forest) is Nottingham Forest's Director of the Youth Academy.

Viv Busby (Luton Town squad) is Swindon Town's Youth Team Coach.

Bobby Hope (West Bromwich Albion) is Chief Scout at West Brom.


Pringle and Fissler Updates:

For anyone who has not yet been there, the ultimate 'Where are they now ?' site has got to www.askgreaves.com Compiled by Andy Pringle and Neil Fissler, it is the natrual progression of the book that saw two editions in the Nineties. A recent visit to the site came up with the following updates relevant to Bob's 70-71 Pages...

Mike Bailey. (Wolverhampton Wanderers) Charlton, Wolves, Hereford. (1959-1978) Managed Hereford United, Charlton Athletic Sacked as reserve team coach at Portsmouth in February 1995. Now manages non league Leatherhead and scouts for Everton.

Frank Barlow (Sheffield United squad) Sheff U, Chesterfield. (1965-1975) Has managed Chesterfield and Scunthorpe and is now first team coach of Bristol City. .

Frank Burrows. (Swindon Town) Raith, Scunthorpe, Swindon, Mansfield. (1965-1973). Managed Cardiff, Portsmouth (twice), Swansea, then reserves at West Ham and is now assistant manager at WBA.

Derek Fazackerley (Blackburn Rovers) Blackburn, Chester, York, Bury. (1970-1988) Has held coaching posts with Newcastle, Blackburn and England is now first-team coach at Barnsley.

David Fogg (Wrexham) Wrexham, Oxford, (1970-1984). Joined the Oxford coaching staff before moving onto Everton and is now assistant manager of Shrewsbury.

John Forrest (Bury). Bury. (1967-1980) Is now working as a coach at Gigg Lane.

George Graham. (ArsenalAston V, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U, Portsmouth, C Palace. (1962-1977) Managed Millwall, Arsenal, Leeds United and Tottenham until he was sacked in 2001 is now a pundit on Sky's pay per view games.

Steve Harrison (Blackpool additional squad). Blackpool, Watford, Charlton (1971-1981) A well travelled coach is currently who joined Middlesbrough from Aston Villa as first-team coach in July 2001.

Stewart Henderson (Brighton and Hove Albion) Chelsea, Brighton, Reading (1964-1982). Formally Youth development officer at Reading is now under-19's boss of Southampton.

Billy Horner (Darlington). Middlesbrough, Darlington. (1960-1978) Is now manager of Hartlepool's centre of excellence.

Wayne Jones. (Bristol Rovers).Bristol R (1966-1972). Became Huddersfield Town's physiotherapist in 1990 before becoming assistant manager at Notts County but is now first-team coach at Gillingham.

Mick Kearns. (Oxford United) Oxford, Plymouth, Charlton, Walsall, Wolves. (1968-1994) Is now Community Officer at Bescot Stadium, Walsall.

Alan Kelly (Preston North End). Preston. (1960-1973) Is now living in Germanstown, MD, in the USA and is goalkeeping coach for DC United after opening his own Indoor School and ran a training programme for goalkeepers.

Alan Kennedy.(Sons and Daughters: Brothers - Keith) Newcastle, Liverpool, Sunderland, Hartlepool, Wigan, Wrexham. (1972-1990). Lives in Kirby and attends coaching conventions around the world, also acts as a matchday host at Anfield and a radio pundit for Century Radio on Merseyside.

Jim McCalliog. (Wolverhampton Wanderers) Chelsea, Sheff Wed, Wolves, Man U, Southampton, Lincoln. (1964-1978). Is now a journalist and publican, running the George & Dragon in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.

Malcolm MacDonald (Luton Town) Fulham, Luton, Newcastle, Arsenal (1968-1978). Lived in Milan and working for Audiotel setting up the equivalent of our 0891 service until the Italian Government made such lines illegal. Now lives in the Newcastle superb of Jesmond earning a crust After Dinner Speaking and from the Media working for Radio Century and a local newspaper.
