penalty given by the referee after the Lithuania
player fell in the penalty box independent of any

up as the Premiership's 3rd highest scorer in all
competitions with 30 goals, and 5th highest scorer of
just Premiership goals with 19.

2003 Manchester United win 4-3 at Old
Trafford against Real Madrid in the Quarter-finals of
the European Cup, but lose 6-5 on aggregate. They
were the last English team in Europe.
Juan Sebastian
played the first 63 minutes, and left the field at
3-2 to Real, but David Beckham came on and played out
of his skin to get two goals back and win the match
on the night. It was too little too late and it was
Ronaldo's hatrick earlier in the game that won the
tie.
