5 January Update In December, Michael played an amazing 8 matches, but scored only once. In the League Michael has now gone 9 matches without a goal. Nevertheless, Michael remains the 6th highest goalscorer this season in the Premiership.

Jamie has been on television in a trailer promoting the FA Cup coverage on the BBC. The advert has a creepy Uncle Fester looking bloke approching top footballers (of which Jamie is the first) and generally scaring them as he shows them a ball from the FA Cup draw, the idea being that the top clubs are likely to be frightened of the prospect of facing lower league opposition. I bet Arsenal are quivering at the prospect of playing Farnborough (not).

12 December Last month Daniel returned to Brighton and Hove Albion: for his second loan spell at the club. This loan spell ended and Daniel has now left his main club, Southend United, without having played for them this season. Daniel moved on a free transfer to Hull City of Division Three.

Hull City manager, Peter Taylor, had previously signed Daniel on loan at Brighton last season.

14 December Made his debut for Hull City in a 1-0 home defeat against Darlington in the Division Three tie. Daniel came on in the 72nd minute. Darlington spent most of the second half with just 10 men due to a sending off.

An outstanding 14,000+ watched the match. Hull City have now moved to a new Kingston Communications Stadium and the attendances have been up all season

26 December 22,319 people watch the Boxing Day fixture in the Division Three match between Hull City and Hartlepool United. Hull won the game 2-0, but Daniel remained on the bench without playing.
