Story and Skills
Dino Zoff had great
reliability, great professionality and was very
strong.
With Juventus he played 330 matches in Serie A
consecutively, playing, every Sunday, for eleven
years from 1972 to 1983.
Dino Zoff was the "Man of Records" : in the
Italian Championship 1972-73 was unbeated for 903
minutes (italian record until 1994) and in National
Team was unbeaten from September 1972 until June
1974, during eleven international matches (record
actually not achieved by any other Italian
goalkeeper).
His legendary reliability was confirmed also in the
European Cup where, in eleven years, he played all
the matches except one in order to leave play his
substitute.
In 1977, during a match against Manchester City at
Main Road, suffered the fracture of a finger of the
right hand, but, after medical care, he continued to
play saving many times his goal.
