| Bob 70-71 | July 200127 July Thanks to a suggestion from Peter McConnell, Ray Crawford has been added to the site 25 July Another relative, Carl Barrowclough - Stewart's (Newcastle United) son - reaches the pages. To celebrate, the Newcastle United page now includes the full Rothmans 70-71 squad. Incidentally, Stewart himself was actually under Barnsley in the Rothmans book, but he did transfer before the season began. There's a new picture added to the Gordon Banks page, and the links page has had a further update. 24 July Three relatives have been added to the site Bill Perryman - Steve's brother, Kenny Logan - Terry Yorath's new son-in-law, and Danny Rofe , Dennis's son (Orient) (See Sons and Daughters) 18 July The 1970-71 Teams search-page has been updated to include the final tables for all four English Leagues The Wolverhampton Wanderers page has had players from the 1970-71 Rothmans added. 15 July Tom Saunders has been added to the Liverpool pages following his death this month 13 July Paul Hart (Stockport County) is added following becoming the manager at Nottingham Forest. Liverpool's page has been updated to include the full squad as appeared in the 1970-71 Rothmans - which added 11 new names. And following his sad death, Joe Fagan has also been added. Neil Warnock (Rotherham United), Dave Stringer (Norwich City) and Sammy Morgan (Port Vale) have all added. These are players that should have been added yonks ago to the Rothmans 2000-2001 page. The Nederlande Eredivisie (Dutch First Division) now has it's own pages, thanks to finding the 1970-71 copy of 'Voetbalsterren In Aktie', which is the equivalent of 'The World of Soccer Stars'. To get things going, the players from ADO and Ajax have been added to the site. This book does help me to confirm that Dick Advocaat, the Rangers' manager, was at ADO in the 70-71 season.
