The premiere (and as far as I know, at this point, only) showing of Ghibli's
new official sub of Nausicaa was held at London's Institute for
Contemporary Arts on July 30th 1995.

| Shown on UK channel 3 (ITV) at various times in the late '80s. The script was generally faithful, but a few
cuts were made in some regions, presumably for the purpose of making it fit a particular timeslot, and to fit
adverts in. This was the same dub (briefly) released theatrically in the USA by Streamline, and also shown on
JAL flights.
