EVENTS THIS ISH:
We lose another eight pages straight away. Gulp.
We apologise for the change in the news section. Interestingly, just about all the complaints we receive about this ish are for the Amiga-unrelated nature of the Unrelated Assassination Special, suggesting people would have been happier if we'd lost another eight pages instead, the blockheads.
(The other complaints are for the Virtual Karting screenshots which, because of an unresolvable (and totally baffling) incompatibility between the ingenious graphics effect and our trusty screenshot device (baffling - you'd think it's just sampling the signal the game's projecting at the monitor, which is showing a perfectly normal screen, and this is the only time in AP's history that the snaps go wrong) come out like they've been through the wash with a toffee in the pocket. We apologise for the fault in a prominent, bezelled box on the review and bung a demo on the coverdisk so readers can see the thing properly for themselves. No, bevelled.)
We also lose Cam Winstanley; he's hand-picked towards the end of the month to head Board Stupid, the forthcoming tin-tray-for-the-90s coryza-celebrating parky-sports spesh, before joining Total Film as Features Ed where he blows up a car with a shotgun and has himself killed with a machine-gun FOR WORK.
