Les Ellis waits for dusk then leaves (to Staff Write and later Ed Gamesmaster, proving the power of advertising, or something). Squeaky new Staff Writers Tim Tucker and Mark Winstanley arrive.

(This means that the old woman's bedroom now contains two Marks and two Tims, so Mark W goes by his middle name, Cam, around the office for clarity, though isn't credited in print as such for another eleven issues. We're not quite sure how the Tims worked things out; possibly there was a gesture when you shouted for one.)
