(Out of interest, for the purposes of The Complete AP2, we exactly counted the words in the unauthorised copy of AP2 by clumping everything together in BB Edit Light and accurately erasing the HTML with a one-line "grep" search. (Technically this also removes any secret messages, but hey, we're kittens of magnanimity like that.) The unauthorised copy of AP2 contains 113,214 words. This compares favourably with J Nash's count at the time, which involved individually removing bits of HTML by hand and was DEFLATINGLY GRUELLING, and came to 109,445 words, thus TREACHEROUSLY UNDERVALUING everyone's efforts.)
