EVENTS THIS ISH:

Gary Penn courageously throws in his occasional interviews to concentrate on the notoriously insecure, financially shaky practice of writing for every other magazine in the entire world and working for most of the game companies. He pops back for a revelatory return, at no point mentioning the famous bet about eating the tin of dog food.

Gary's departure means Stuart Campbell is the last surviving member of the original AP team. Taking advantage of this, Stuart immediately begins making up a bunch of stuff that didn't really happen to ensure any subsequent histories will be wrong.

Freelancer Dave Robinson makes his only appearance in AP in a cameo from (we think) Amiga Format, reviewing the re-release of a complicated flight sim. Presumably JD was stuck in traffic.

On the Other Hand lurches back from the dead for one final scare.
